Advanced Monitoring of Devices

Draco® DMAD is a module of high engineering that allows doing a complete process for DOCSIS equipment of Troubleshooting through cable modems, e-MTAs, and Transponders.


This module allows having a real time monitoring with historical information stored of all the DOCSIS equipment of the cable-operator, being thousand of hundreds or tens of thousands with same Servant equipment. The analysis level is as in real time as historical in the different elements that can degrade the service towards the Subscriber.

 

How works Draco® DMAD

Draco® DMAD obtains in real time, through algorithms of little use of DOCSIS equipment, information related to:

  1. Powers used in bidirectional transmission. SNR measured in bidirectional transmission.
  2. BER measured in bidirectional transmission.
  3. Status of DOCSIS device. Bandwidth used in bidirectional transmission.
  4. Flaps.
  5. Microreflections.
  6. MAC´s associated to device. Subscriber general information and CMTS (Ports).
  7. Later on it allows establishing the range of dates and hours in order that the user can make his historical analysis and can do it in real time.
