Firmware Update Automated System

Draco® DAAF under the necessity to have updated the operation software that has integrated the Cable modems and e-MTAs, which is known as Firmware.
By means of a central administration structure that automates the distributed update, it allows the Company, in a quite simple manner to enter the Firmware versions by device (Cable modem or e-MTA) identified by Draco® DAAF in its networks HFC and update it when is
necessary.

Draco® DAAF it is the most effective and friendly system to get along Firmware updates with the minimum risk, DRACO® DAAF covers yourneeds of firmware devices updating Cable Modems and e-MTA allowing to have an historical control of firmware versions by brand and model, all of this thanks to Draco which updates each device firmware registered in the data base.

How does Draco® DAAF works

Draco® DAAF counts on an active system of Cable modems identification and e-MTAs in HFC networks, identifying operational and in a logical way CMTS, brands, models: the firmware operating version.

Once the elements have been identified, it has two update forms:
Using the Provisioning Draco® DPD / Draco® DPV
Using intelligent regulation in an independent way of provisioning. In either instance, the Cable modem and/or e-MTA are update in a safe manner, using simple Upgrade, or Downgrade to be able to make ciclod and Upgrade
